Urban Surfaces, Graffiti, and the Right to the City

What do graffiti and street art teach us about cities? Can we write a spatial theory of urban surfaces? And what does a wall interview look like?

Thursday 10 April, join us for the Melbourne launch of Urban Surfaces, Graffiti, and the Right to the City by urban researcher Dr Sabina Andron.

The book explores the importance of surfaces, graffiti, and public signage in thinking about cities, and brings together urban studies, architectural theory, criminology, visual culture and legal geography into an original, richly illustrated argument.

When: 6pm, Thursday 11 April 2024
Where: CY Space, 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood Yards
