Launch—Corporate Ethics and the Architecture of Asylum

Join Jennifer Ferng for a discussion of her book Corporate Ethics and the Architecture of Asylum

Bookshop by Uro celebrates the publication of Corporate Ethics and the Architecture of Asylum by Jennifer Ferng, a Sydney-based academic and architectural historian. The book examines how the multinational contractors responsible for building immigration detention centres are complicit in human rights violations—and proposes that visualising asylum through emerging technologies such as AI can become a tool of resistance to political corruption. Join us for a frank discussion about offshore processing and its damaging effects on Pacific communities and environments.

This special event has a discounted book price of $80 (RRP$326). RSVPs will receive a special link to purchase the book before the launch for pickup that evening.

When: 6pm Thursday 9 April 2026
